Autistic persons frequently find themselves in situations in which they are unable to respond to someone trying to engage them. It's not because they don't want to, it's because they can't. They need time to process.
 
Often the person trying to interact doesn't understand why the Autistic person is un-responsive, and this can cause further stress, and at times the situation can escalate.
 
The AUTISM Bandana-Guide  is to be carried by Autistic persons, and when they find themselves in situations to which they are unable to respond, they hand their Bandana-Guides to the persons trying to engage them.
