Community Safety Initiative

The Community Safety Initiative is a structured, community-based educational program featuring twelve SAFETY Bandana-Guides covering personal safety, home safety, first-aid, emergency preparedness, health awareness, faith support and other topics.

 

The program directs a portion of all sales into a locally administered Community Emergency Fund to assist residents during verified emergencies.

 

The Initiative is educational, non-political, non-partisan, and non-profit in structure (the Community Fund), and everything is managed online, is completely transparent.

 

Every community's Emergency Fund is overseen by three to five respected local citizens who determine qualifying emergencies.

How It Works​

​​

We request that “Community Partners” agree to participate—Chamber of Commerce, Police/Fire/EMTs, Schools, CTSOs, Community Organizations i.e. Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, Etc., Churches, Local TV, Radio, Newspapers, and whomever else wishes to join.

A unique Community SAFETY Code is created.

​​​

“Community Partners” announce to their communities the SAFETY Initiative, and distribute the SAFETY Code to the community residents utilizing any and all means available to them.

​

We provide Announcement letter templates, Press Releases, Signs, and other documents that can be downloaded here on our site and used as is or edited as desired.

1. SAFETY Bandana-Guides are ordered online using the Community SAFETY Code. 

2. A percentage of each sale goes directly into that Community’s Emergency Fund.

3. Fund decisions are made locally by a citizen board of three to five members.

4. Your Community’s Emergency Fund is established at the local bank of your choice.

 

There are no inventory requirements, no cash handling. Everything is fully managed online.
